push “redirect-gateway” just stops all traffic. Here is what I have now for server config.

Also I did change to UDP and I can’t use this command.
openvpn –genkey –secret ta.key

I followed this guide. It was very useful and I want to thank you for doing this.

I do have 2 questions.

1. Since this is not a bridged connection. Is there a way I can add some info to the server config to route all traffic through the connection. I really wanted to use this to hide my identity or IP and have secure traffic.

2. I would like to implement the tls-auth handshake with a secret key. How do I make this key? Should I be using UDP instead?

I installed this on Debian Etch and XP pro using the OpenVPN executable. Thanks

After weeks of frustration by Roland MDX15 milling machine is working perfectly with the Belkin, shame that driver didn’t come with the device.

Thanks! I was getting this error trying to install VMWare Workstation 7.0 on Windows 7 x64.

I didn’t even have to close the installer just remove that key and click retry.

Thank you very much for this useful post.
It helped me out big time.

I’ve just bought a new laptop (no serial port) I also bought the Belkin F5U103vea USB to Serial.
The laptop comes with Vista installed and I couldn’t get the Belkin to work with the supplied driver disc.

I Installed the driver from the Prolific website and now my Belkin F5U103vea is working with Vista.

Thank you for posting this. I have several people trying to use a USB to Serial cable from belkin and it’s been a hassle trying to get it to work in vista and win7.
